Years seems to pass faster than shooting stars. Every beginning starts with a dream. A dream that I hope to realize before the next shooting star appears. But this time it’s different; perhaps the child in me is no longer driven to make a wish when the sky explodes with a new blazing star. This time, the shooting star does not excite me, rather reminds me of all the previous ones. What an adventure, I thought to myself. A voyage that I never anticipated would lead me down paths that taught me many things, showed me many stories, and given me reasons to keep going. I won't lie, there were times when I wanted to give up on my journey, but inside me there is still a tiny light, a flame of hope that is so strong which has given me yet another chance to spot my next shooting star.
